Autumn 2011
Team Sanix competes
in the junior category (14-16 years old girls) in the
Finnish GymnasticsFederation SvoLi and the International
Federation
of Aesthetic Group Gymnastics IFAGG.
For the season 2010-2011
the team was selected to the B-group of the Finnish
Gymnastics Federation’s national coaching program.
Team Sanix achieved all their goals which
were set for the season 2010-2011.
The team won silver medal in the National Championships
in the spring of 2011 and
with this achievement Team Sanix represented Finland in
the samespring
in the Junior World Championships, which were held in
Spain. The team finished
sixth in the Junior World Championships.
Team Sanix is aiming for the first place
in the National Championships, which are
held in the autumn of 2011.
In the spring of 2012
Sanix will rise to the age range of 16 to 18.
In the autumn of
2010 their pin routine brought the team bronze medal in
the
National Championships (14-16 years old), and gold
medal in the regional,
local as well as the Sport Federation TUL’s
Championships. In the spring of
2010 the team finished fifth in the National
Championships with their
free routine, and they also won the regional and
federation’s Championships.
The sensitive and lyrical Titanic-routine also won the
prize for best routine.
In 2009 the team came second in the 12-14 years old
girl’s Championships
with their free routine, and won all regional and
federation’s Championships.
Most
of the team’s gymnasts have been competing for 7 to
8 years and
practiced for several more. The team practices 5 times a
week, altogether
approximately 15 hours per week.
